SappoLodge

This place is unique. While most of the buildings aroud are huge, SappoLodge is a small warm place, with a bar and resturant at the first floor and rooms on the second. When you'll get to the door you'll already feel the difference. Open the door with the big glass sphear and you'll find a lively wooden tavern which include a Japanese tatami area. The bed was comfortable. The location is great!! It's very close to Odori park, to the shopping street, a short walk to Nakajima park, and there are lots of bars and restaurants around. The staff where great and friendly! Thank you Masa san, Mai san and Noria san🙏🏼

The location was really good and I also loved the beds. There was a lot of space and they were also very comfortable. The showers were also good and the hostel was very clean. Also a use thank you for the staff that carried my (very heavy) suitcase up the stairs for me!

Very cozy lodge and comfortable sleeping area. The sleeping area is mostly quiet, but you do get noise from the bar below.

The facilities were all very clean and in the few interactions we had with the staff they were friendly. There was lots of young travellers staying there and so it was nice to speak to and get to know some of them. It was also quite central to Sapporo and close to a train station.

I have been greeted by helpful and friendly staff. In the evening at 6pm the ground floor turns into an izakaya. I had the honor of trying some dishes. The staff gives you tips and advice about Sapporo and Hokkaido. //I will definitely come again. Minh L
